About Us
Once a Rattler, always a Rattler. The Las Vegas Chapter of the FAMU National Alumni Association is a great way to maintain strong ties with Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University even after graduation. No matter how you choose to get involved, you can be sure that you’re making a meaningful difference on campus and in the lives of current students.
Our Mission
The mission of the Las Vegas Chapter of the Florida A&M University (FAMU) National Alumni Association (NAA) is to enhance and support the continued existence of FAMU by supporting the NAA mission of Fundraising, Recruitment, Image Building and Government Relations (FRIG): raising and giving funds to the University that will support its programs; recruiting students who will attend the University; recruiting alumni and others who will support the University and its goals through membership in this Chapter and the National Alumni Association; doing those things that perpetuate a positive image of the Chapter, the Association and the University; and influencing government and community activities that will support the University's priorities.
